To make the 2 different styles of shorts in this tutorial I bought 1 yard.
- What get: receive 1 piece of rhinestone ribbon tassel chain that total length approx.2 yards(180cm,71 inch), the tassel length is approx.4.72 inches in length, each rhinestone is approx. 0.11 inch in diameter, enough length could easily meet your various craft and decoration requirements
- Reliable material: this diamond rhinestone tassel trim is made of reliable glass rhinestone with a metal base, which is characterized by sturdy texture, not easy to break, deform or fade, fine workmanship without scratches or stains, can stay in its original state as time goes by, you can use it with confidence
- Flexible to use: you can easily cut this crystal rhinestone applique into different lengths with scissors (not included), paste them on various clothes, handmade crafts, ornament with glue (not included) or apply them for sewing projects, a variety of applications ways can provide you with unlimited choice to fulfill your work
Needle and thread, or glue.
Thread will help you attach the rhinestone fringe trim to the fabric in a lasting and professional way.
The best part? Having the option to remove it whenever you want without damaging the fabric by simply cutting the stitches that are holding the trim.
However, if you want a permanent (and faster) alternative, you can use the e6000 glue to attach the trim to the shorts.
Fabric marking pen
This baby is a must in your crafts/sewing tool kit! It makes such thin and precise lines and the ink disappears with water, aka you can use a damp cloth to rub it out.
This brand is better than many others I've tried and it works perfectly to mark exactly where you want to place the rhinestone trim on your shorts.
